We are a husband & wife team (Mom & Pop, if you will) that has managed to accumulate a wide variety of collectible items over the years. I (the wife) found myself out of work in June 2006. With 2 kids and a dog, we still needed a way to help make ends meet. With all the collectibles we have, Jeff & I decided to dig our heels in and learn all about eBay. It seemed everyone we knew was an expert except for us.
We took the time and learned all we could, and continue to learn more through experience. Originally, this was just going to be a way to make ends meet between jobs for me. It has become so much fun, and profitable, for the two of us that I am now doing eBay full-time and plan on continuing in this new full-time position for a very long time.
Jeff has a full-time career, so he helps out with shipping and other items when he can. Either way, one of us is online everyday to answer questions and to try to provide the kind of customer service we would expect to receive ourselves as consumers. The more boxes we open, the more we find to list on Ebay every week. Now, both sets of our parents are pitching in too, trying to clean out their attics and basements!
