A Grandmother's Dream ... About me ... My name is Gigi and there are 5 dreams in my story. My 1st dream was to retire at age 50. In March 2003 my grand daughter was born.May 2004 ~ Sudden vision loss ended my career with the US Postal Service. (Early retirement- Age 51). I launched my business ~~ A Grandmother's Dream... (Named after my Grand Daughter Kaily Ann )in January 2006. Married Lee in April 2006, now in 2007 we were able to buy the house of my dreams. It is the house of My Dear Neighbor who passed away in October 2006 at the age of 91. It is a house that is filled with tender memories of the woman who was like a mother to me for over 20 years. As you can see, the past few years have been a whirlwind of joys and uncertainties at times. With Certainty, MY Faith was a Steadfast Anchor. Dreams DO Come True!

I like to sell items that I have recovered from Estate Sales, especially sales where I actually knew the person. I buy what I like, and hope someone else will too. Currently I am selling items mostly from the Estate of My Dear Neighbor and it has been a real education in Vintage apparel. I still have so much to learn! I am not an expert about anything I sell, but I am honest about the items. If it is not perfect, you will know it! Thank you for taking time to visit my Store, named after my Grand daughter.

Shipping is via USPS with Delivery Confirmation on all items. Shipping charges are calculated by weight, size and a small handling fee is included. I try to use First Class Parcel Mail up to 13 ounces when I can, that saves YOU money over Priority Mail. But YOU choose the shipping service YOU prefer, YOU get the same great turn around service from me because I am able to ship EVERY USPS business day! Checks must clear before items are shipped - usually 3-10 days.
