Auctiva and Ebay Emporium: QUALITY STUFF PLUS .. Oakland Antiques

I have just recently found Auctiva and am experimenting with using it in place for my Antique store site and also selling quality antique and collectible items on ebay. Would someone please tell me more about your experience thus far using Auctiva products? I also collect guilloche sterling enamel compacts , perfumes , Roseville pottery , old pocket watches , fountain pens , knives , coins , and so many other favorite items of the good old "quality" hand made days. We have been in business for 40 years and are now retired. Closed our shop of many years and will now be making a living on ebay selling our remaining inventory and of course, we can't stop buying either. Antique collecting is an addiction. Much better than being addicted to alcohol or drugs .. but it is an addiction. Ebay was so much more fun when I started in 1998. It is now better but has put many antique shops out of business since it is so easy to just sit in your home and buy and sell items. Anything that was rare is not any longer. All books are not actual prices any longer. Now it is how much someone is willing to pay. I like that part but do not like selling items for less that my cost. I am sure most can understand that. All the reproductions have also hurt the antique market. Collectors are fewer because of this. Blogging is the new thing. This is my lst blog on Auctiva. I know very little about computers .. am self taught since my son started me on the computer. He said, "Mom, you just have to get in and figure it out" .. So I did .. and am still learning everyday. My daughter-in-law just taught me how to move a file .. make a folder .. I just don't know what else I am missing! Now my grandchildrens pictures are in one folder by name.
