If you are looking for a relatively simple and quick hand made item to display this holiday season or to give as a gift with a wonderful vintage feel, then Jean Nordquist has just released the perfect kit for you. It comes two ways with one option primarily in black and gold background papers and the other in reds and greens. Both feature a darling spun cotton angel dressed in cotton batting and everything you need to create this angel or snow child is included plus her imported German Dresden gold foil doilies to mount her to the center of your wreath. The wreaths are accordian folded cardstock that you fold and glue into a circle which is then flattened and decorated with all the other gold foil Dresdens which depending on the kit include wings, stars, snowflakes, and a tiny gold tree for the angel to hold. You are able to adjust the overall finished size of your wreath from 9-1/2" to 11-1/2". You may display your finished wreath by hanging it or sitting it in an easel on your mantel. Made in the smaller size it could even top a Christmas tree. This project takes a person skilled with cutting with scissors and gluing about 2 to 3 hours to complete.
