Auctiva Emporium: no401k

I am not sure what these were used for, but they are AWESOME. Black thick Leather Lined Moon Boot Style Boots. Were they early Snow Machine Boots? They have a Double patch on the inside calf. These are mens size 7 and womens size 9. Any help will be appreciated.
