My knowledge of the subject is fair with initial start at Brick Lane in 1978, moving on to Bermondsey Market, Covent Garden and shops in Hampshire, Devon and now Cornwall (down hill all the way). I come from a family of dealers who I can only trace back to Liverpool being my great, great grandfather who was a grain merchant in 1820. Previous to this we apparently came from Spain as Jewish immigrants, via the Netherlands (Sephardi Jews) allowed to enter England as trades people as long as we did not live within 10 miles of a Cinque Port; this was granted by I believe Oliver Cromwell. I am single have a lurcher dog and love the trade and meeting similar.
