How strange. a coin that had an original mintage of 484,000 had been listed on ebay almost 2,000,000 times. I am of course refering to the 1909 S VDB. Not coincidentally, this is the most faked coin in the world. Be careful when buying this year and mint of Lincoln Cent! -

What's a proof coin? A newly minted proof coin is Un-circulated, however it is the way it is made that causes a difference in appearance and qualifies it as a "proof". Proof coins are Minted specially for collectors. They do not go down the conveyor belt into bags but are hand carried and struck. See plenty of examples by visiting my ebay store carrconnection. -

USA coins, both old and newer ones are where it is at!
For investment purposes, lay a graph of 30 year Bluechip Stocks onto a 30 year graph of well selected coin investments. BaMM!
Coins are portable. Properly stored, even copper will stay new looking for as long as needed. Silver only gets better with age and gold does not tarnish.
