Hello, My Name is Rick Schultz and I'm From Chagrin Falls, Ohio. I sell Die Cast Collectibles on E Bay. A few days ago a Lady from Covington,Georgia Emailed me to ask some Questions about some Dale Earnhardt Diecast cars that were donated to her for a fund raiser. When she went on Ebay to research the value of the Cars she found that they were not selling for anything near the value she was given for the cars. She contacted me to ask why the cars sell so cheap on Ebay. She Explained to me that her 2 year old Grandson Tyler is blind. She has been doing research and found that there is a treatment available in China that can give him some vision and possibly give him total vision. I used to race locally here in Cleveland 20 years ago And whenever there was a Family in need or a Child in need everyone in the Racing Community would pitch in and help anyway they could. She wasn't asking me for donations, Just asking advice. I Decided to not only give her some advice, I wanted to do something to help Tyler. This is my reason for writing this.. I'm looking for any type of help in raising some funds for this worthy cause. You can go to her website www.hopefortyler.com to get more info about Tyler and the contact info for Tami Cosby ( Tyler's Grandmother ) Tami told me she has some community involvement with a local food chain and a local Gas Station both have collection boxes and People have been giving her some ideas of ways to help raise the funds needed and she is dedicated to do whatever it takes to help her Grandson have vision. Over the next few weeks I'll be listing some collectibles on ebay with Hope for Tyler in the title, I will be donating 100% of the Sale price to HOPE FOR TYLER Please look for these auctions. You can also find the listings by going to www.vintageracingcollectables.com This Child's story really tugged at my heartstrings I'm going to do all I can from Ohio to help. My email address is [email protected] if you have any questions or suggestions for me. Thank You for your time, Richard B. Schultz
