Book of Shadows

I am very honoured to be able to offer this beautiful Book of Shadows to you.  I have known the Lady Guen for a number of years, and quite possibly a number of lifetimes  ... This Book of Shadows is one of a kind creation from the Lady Guen.  Some of you have received magical and blessed pieces from this High Priestess in the past but only a chosen few have one of her personally designed Books of Shadows.  The Goddess has directed her to create and offer some individual Books just for you.  No Book of Shadows that Lady Guen creates is ever replicated again, each is designed specifically for one person, are you that person?

Here is a message from Lady Guen to the Seekers of this particular Book of Shadows:

"This dark navy Leather bound Book is for the Night Witch .. the one who loves the velvet darkness (as represented by the deep navy colour) and who understands the Magick that is found under the moon and stars.  The embellishments on the Book are Silver Plated solid Brass and are the ones that found their way to me, called by the new Mistress/Master of this Book of Shadows.  This witch understands the deep Magick of the Seven Goddess's as represented by the seven circles within the central disc ...

Isis, Astarte, Diana Hecate, Demeter, Kali, Inanna

If these names resonate within your soul, if you own the night and hear it whisper your name, you are one of the ones who understand the Dark Moon .. you perhaps were called here today, is this Book of Shadows meant for you? I have blessed it and created it to strengthen and protect your spells.

Some of you know me for I have been among you.  Many know me by other names, in other countries, in other places.  In light and in dark the old Magick walks, and I have spent my lifetime(s) among you, healing, helping where I can.  Once again I greet you my Sisters, Brothers and Children, I bless you all.  To those special few who truly know my name, I greet you old friends, what can I do to aid you?

The old ones were nothing if not practical and rejoiced in those things which simplified a complex way of life.  This is why my fellow witches, and others, that I bring you this Book of Shadows, post bound, rather than tied with ribbon or leather as was the tradition.  This allows easy movement of pages as your path widens and you learn new Magicks.  The Book comes with blank parchment paper for you to fill with your own spells as I will not yet share mine with you, perhaps in time ...

Each Book of Shadows that I release will be meant for only one special person.  I know who you are and you have helped me choose the embellishments that make this Book one of a kind.  I may not know your name, but you have come through loud and strong with your requests.  I send this Book to you via my friend as I know no other way to reach you.

Included with the book are a cover page, a book blessing, the Wiccan rede, and several pages of Wiccan and Pagan symbols, the rest of the blank pages are blue parchment, just waiting for your words, your spells.

The book measures approximately 255mm x 290mm (10" x 11 1/2") and is 50mm deep (2").  The central disc embellishment is approximately 70mm (2 3/4") diameter.  The book weighs just over 2kg.
