Wood is all around us. It lies discarded by nature on the forest floor, forgotten in old barns, unwanted in piles of refuse or burn piles. Wood is a basic material that is taken by most for granted. Think what life would be without it.
I have a great appreciation for wood, I always look in wonder at the grain patterns, textures, and even distress from the forces of time and nature. A tree is a wonder of nature, it holds a record of its environment within its skin. Its median of communication is its grain. Should a trees life be easy, without the complications of competing plants, the hardships of drought, or any other distressfull forces, its grain shows this with even, well behaved and boring grain. But should the opposite occur the storybook patterns of hardship leap from the heart of the wood and catch your eye like the glint of a mirror to the past.
I enjoy finding new uses for old wood. I especially enjoy working with wood that contains wild grain patterns, peeling away the bark to reveal the treasures captured within. I also enjoy capturing the country charm that can be found in the wear of broken relics from our past. There is always a surprise waiting beneath the surface of a worn and tattered timbers that have been left forgotten.
I make many objects using found wood. These objects range from the simplistic yet captivating puzzle boxes to fine furniture in the queen anne and hepplewhite styles sized down to accomodate the material available. I have made many pieces over the years and have accumulated quite a collection. Now I have a chance to share them with you.

I ship within a day or two of recieving confirmed payment in my account. I cant afford to be liberal about checks, so they must clear before I can send your purchase out to you.
Policies:
I am always glad to offer a refund or an exchange of merchandise for any purchase your not happy with. I can't refund any shipping costs. And while I would like to offer you a lifetime guarentee I can only guarentee a refund for two weeks, after that I can only exchange merchandise for a similar item, at my option. If there is any problem with your order please let me know, I want you to be able to enjoy your purchase for a lifetime.
