Hi! Check out my latest items, a multitude of manuals! The first batch ran 10 days ago or so and a new batch is up now for sale. These are all manuals I've had for years, twenty or more, and are brand new genuine John Deere. The neat thing is that they are the old style manuals, made they way they should be today but aren't. Have you received a new manual from Deere recently for a vintage tractor or piece of equipment? Like the mundane generic black cover and copied-to-death look of the text and the oversizing of the manual itself? Neither do I. That's why I'm glad to offer these manuals, made as originals by Deere and not the corner copy shop. Of course there are very few available so be sure to check back and get the one(s) you need before I'm out! Talk to you soon Greg www.theoldtractorcompany.com www.joetraktor.com

Hi! Some of you may know of me, most of you likely don't. My name is Greg and I was a John Deere dealer for 30 years. We also were dealers at various times for Hesston, Farmhand, Massey Ferguson, AGCO (including Allis-Chalmers, White, Minneapolis Moline, and Oliver), Kioti, Rhino, and numerous other short lines. I was involved in most areas of a dealership including service and sales but soon settled into the parts department as the area I was interested in. Over the years I began to seek out the difficult parts requests, especially on older tractors, as I found I was good at locating these difficult parts and I enjoyed the hunt. Thirty years later, here I am. I have years of very specialized experience in helping people with their vintage tractor and equipment requests whether they are collecting, restoring, or still using it. I've developed sources and even friendships that enable me to locate many items that might otherwise be considered impossible to find. On top of that, our dealership has one of the world's largest inventories of obsolete new old stock genuine John Deere parts and accessories. We also have reproduced many different items that were no longer available and are probably available nowhere else in the world. Complementing this we carry an extensive line of the latest in reproduction parts and are constantly expanding our offerings. Personally I also became obsessed with literature, manuals, sales pamphlets, bulletins, advertising and pretty well almost everything else related to the farm and parts industry. I have an enormous parts catalog library on most brands and I regularly avail myself of these materials to aid in my efforts to locate an elusive part. One thing I've always said is that I still learn something new almost every day. That's what keeps it fresh and exciting. So feel free to check with me on a part, all I can do is say "Sorry, I can't help you." and who knows, maybe I can! Greg www.theoldtractorcompany.com www.joetraktor.com
