  • NIGHLIGHTS & NEW SHAPES!

    7:56 AM PST, 8/29/2007

This weekend marks the beginning for me -- All of my new forms are FINALLY in, all of the fabrics are purchased, the trims are screaming at me from inside their bins and cupboards "USE ME, USE ME, USE ME!!!" Okay, I will!

I will be creating de-lights (bad pun or good tag line, YOU decide, LOL) beyond your expectations!  Remember, I told you that they were coming.

Some of these lamps have such adorable names, it's worth buying the shades just because of that.  Coming soon are:

    • Merry Scotty Toss (Christmas) darling holiday doggies

    • Gilded Chanukkah - this was just so pretty, I couldn't resist it
    • Tossed Hanukkah - the written words say it all, subtle, classy
    • Kwanzaa Huts (or potential tiki bars... who's to know?)
    • African Winds - fabulous pattern, organic, earthy and strong

AND MORE!  You can see I'm going to be REALLY busy.  I am so excited, it's hard to write.

I have Lamp/Shade sets that are completely unique, you'll love them.

Wait until you see these ovals, rounds, scalloped nightlights -- different sized round NightLights -- They are just "IT".

Absolutely the COOLEST on Ebay or anywhere.  After all, they are MaidenShade ORIGINALS!

Here is Calligraphy, a 3-sided nightlight from the A Look Back collection:
  • OH LOOK!

    3:48 AM PST, 8/22/2007

The baby shades are appearing. Come on, aren't they just the sweetest? What a darling idea for a shower, birth, new nursery -- a designer lampshade!  These make great gifts.

Also posted is the first of the Holiday line, a fun shade for Halloween.

I've made repeat shades for some that have sold via other venues -- one very popular example is Cleopatra.  People love that shade!

More to come later, keep cool!

  • MAIDENSHADE HAS NEWS!

    1:40 PM PST, 8/1/2007

What's news? I've got lamp bases -- and the first in a line of nursery shades -- a Beatrix Potter print with Peter Rabbit and his friends.

Although they aren't yet posted, I've also got the most yummy nightlights ever.

The fabric and trims are arriving daily, I am in HEAVEN.

    • The baby prints are making me go "OHHHHHHHHHH!"
    • The Christmas ones have me thinking holiday thoughts (presents, gifts, unique ideas...) as I work.
    • The Hanukkah ones have me singing songs from Fiddler on the Roof and dancing around like Tevia with my arms up in the air and asking God if it would ruin some big important plan (if I was a wealthy... woman?).
    • The Halloweenie ones glow in the dark.
    • The tropical, mahjongg, or golf ones... well, they are funny or just cute!
    • The trims, oh the trims. I just squeal. Lovely, beautiful, perfect -- it is overwhelming. They match so deliciously with my fabrics. The possibilities abound!

I'd like to mention some fabulous Ebayers (all ladies too) whom I love:

    • Linens 'n Laurels
    • Zeet Zeet
    • Dove Originals
    • Busy Quilter

There are more, but that's it for now.  SHOP SHOP SHOP,

    Kindest regards, J
