The story of this group dates from 1984, when Sixto Ayvar founded “Alborada” in Ocobamba, Apurimac Peru.  Sixtucha (Sixto Ayvar) spread his music, mainly inspired in the Andean folklore. The Andean traditional music is modernized and renewed in Alborada’s hands and voices.
the group has experimented and tried different musical forms, but always keeping its particular style.

Alborada is not only a folk music group, it is also a new artistic proposal whose performance includes music, dancing, visual features in each of its presentations, turning them into an artistic, novel event.
