Well, here we are ... blogging! Lord have mercy what will they think of next? This is Karen of Foxy*Dames, the daughter. Mom is on the sidelines cheering me on ... guess you could call her the 'silent' partner.

When I was a little girl I was fascinated by my Mother's and Grandmother's jewelry. Oh the pretty colors and all of the sparkles. I used to play dress up and pretend I was the Queen with all of my 'jools'. Little did we know that fascination would turn into an obsession!

We LOVE jewelry. Mom has more of the subtle, classy taste. Me? Bring on the sass ... the unique pieces. I love to be unique and I am the queen of sass ... or so I'm told.

My obsession really took off when I attended my 1st 'live' estate auction with my parents. There were so many pretties, I couldn't believe they were selling them. Well, I bid and I won. I was a goner after that!

As I started collecting jewelry, for some reason my house started getting smaller. And I needed money to do all of this collecting. I told my husband I was preparing for our retirement and it was an investment. He told me I better start seeing some green stuff from all of that investing.

So .... here we are ... selling all kinds of jewelry on eBay. We have pearls, diamonds, bakelite, lucite, silver, gold, cameoes, marcasite, rubies, amethysts, emeralds, turquoise, ivory, bone and so much more.
