Most of us I think walk around with so much distorted programming from the Matrix - as children we seem to absorb a lot of negativity from our surroundings as well as the positive energy of course. When I was doing a Step 4 I discovered a lot of emotional glitches picked up in my childhood. Most of them had no foundation in reality, but a lot of it was just "things my teachers said" and "things my parents said" which were probably not meant but just said as they were stressed up at the time When I acknowledged these distortions which I held as small resentments I was able to look at them in the light of consciousness (thank you Eckhart Tolle) and acknowledge they were part of me that No Longer Served Me Underneath these distortions I found many gifts which I would not have found had I not made the journey inside myself I would thoroughly recommend a Step 4 to everyone - even those who are nothing to do with Alcholism or Addictions. Along with the 12 Step Program, Crystal Therapy, Reiki and QXCI therapy I have been able to uncover so many of these little glitches in my own programming After all that's what our minds are - little computers. If you have ever seen the program LOST (one of my favourite addictions) you may have seen the little Red Robot running at the bottom of the screen at the end of the show. It runs across and says BAD ROBOT It is only my opinion but that's what we have become in the MATRIX - bad robots. So funny when you see the reality of this. When we think and plan with our verbal mind and neglect our spiritual self - it is no wonder things go wrong. This tiny little piece of us (the verbal) mind confuses itself with the whole of us - it thinks it is in charge - no wonder the world is in such chaos - hoho. If we can quieten this verbal piece down by some form of meditation practice - then we will start to feel the pull of the soul - our Higher Selves which is connected to a Power Much Greater than Ourselves or the tiny mind. In my opinion our verbal mind is like a Front End Processor of a computer - it draws out and sifts information from our Hard Disc - so is nothing more than an FEP. It has a very powerful 12 Step program of recovery that may be very helpful to you. Many relatives and friends of Alcholics are unaware of the damage done to them by someone elses illness. There are many Adult Children of Alcholics who have trouble relating to people in their life and do not know that there is most likely a connection with the former or current Alcoholic and their inability to form stable emotional relationships.
