Since 1958, beginning at the age of ten on the road to becoming a craftsman, my Dad and Grandpa started me out helping them on the job sites of the family carpentry construction company. In 1982 I met my wife Lynn while constructing display cases for her jewelry. It was not difficult to transition from woodworking techniques to metalworking. The same desire for carefully cutting, forming, and finishing a piece to perfection applies to the work, regardless of the medium. I am a Member of the Florida Society of Goldsmiths, a senior writer for Sunshine Artist magazine, have served on the board of directors of the Michigan Guild of Artists and Artisans, and through my Mom's generous example have worked in support of the community.
