Did you know that precious metals and jewelry made from them is very GREEN. Platinum,Gold, & Silver have an extremely high likelihood of being recycled due to their scarcity and value. In fact, a piece of jewelry that you own today could be made with the gold from some of Cleopatra's jewels or those of the Romanoff's. We take pride in the fact that much of the precious metals that we buy is either resold as a piece of jewelry or is refined so that we can make something new and dazzling for you. Gemstones,too,are recycled. Many of todays diamond jewelry is made from recut gems that were mined as much as a century (or more) ago. All gemstones of quality can be reused or recut.
In addition, when we pack and ship items to you we reuse boxes (when we can) and we reuse those nasty styrofoam peanuts that we've received (we never buy new ones). When we run out of those we either use scrap, shredded paper or we use REAL EDIBLE FRESH POPCORN. Whenever possible we use less paper and recycle all of the paper that we can.
