One hundred and one years ago this antique book was given as a Christmas gift to Norma Warehime of York County, Pennsylvania by her good friend, Bessie E. Weigle. This unique book was copyrighted in 1900 by George W. Jacobs & Co., publishers in Philadelphia. It is a young peoples book about a group of girls starting a girls club, written by Izola L. Forrester and very well illustrated by Anna Weatherbey Parry. It's in amazingly good condition for its age with a good sturdy cloth cover and a good binding and the interior is relatively clean and spot free with a minimal amount of wear. Normally, I don't encourage re-gifting, but wouldn't it be a sweet gift to be able to gift your favorite book reader with a book originally gifted so many years before!
