Do you want a genuine piece of WW1 military history ?
If so log on to this item being offered for sale on Ebay.
It is a Medal Militaire (Bravery Medal) awarded to a Gendarme of the 19th Legion. The medal comes with its official award certificate, and is named to Gendarme Eugene Remeze Henri Charmasson. The document is dated 1922 but states the medal was first recorded as being awarded in December 1918. Both items are in excellent condition and would look great if framed up together. Enhance your medal/militaria collection with this fine lot. French medals are reasonabley inexpensive compared to there British counterparts. Because of this and the ever increasing price of British medals they offer collectors good value for money. Indeed if this were an equivalant British medal it would be at least £300. Start saving foreign medals as they are just as interesting as British ones.
