TLC Treasures 08

Barbies are spread out on my family room floor as my two youngest daughters play house with their treasure of Barbies and all their accessories.  My treasure is them, the blessing they are and the joy I feel as I watch them enjoy the things God has provided them with to play. 

This week TLC Treasures is offering a great collection of toys, especially for the younger set.  Some include lego duplos, a Barbie Jeep, a Elmo Phone, a Playskool Sit 'n Spin, Rock 'n Sock 'em Robots, the list goes on . . .

My treasures & I will be leaving on vacation 6/28.  You will notice that there are no listings ending past that date in our store.  You will see several new items appear on 7/3.

I will be taking a brief break to take care of graduation affairs for my oldest who is graduating from high school on May 25.  He has been a treasure to us from the start and we look forward to seeing what God will do in his life.

This week's auctions include several home improvement coupons.  They include savings on Benjamin Moore Paint, Jo-Ann Fabrics & Craft Store Fabric and Better Homes & Garden's 3D Home Design & Landscaping Software.  While today's homeowner can put too much of their time and money into this temporal necessity, we should be good stewards of the things God has entrusted us with.  Hopefully these coupons can be of savings to someone so they can invest their money into something/someone eternal.

Look for the usual clothing auctions including Reebok athletic wear and several lots of shirts with brands such as Dockers, Old Navy, Cherokee, Van Heusen, etc.

Educational auctions this week include a National Geographic DVD package and a Leap Frog Leap Pad Learning System with 8 books/cartridges.

I have been working at supplementing our family's income through E-Bay sales since this past January.  The items that I have been offering through TLC Treasures 08 have mainly been clothing items that no longer are being used by us, some "deals" I have picked up and various items around our house. 

Several years ago I learned some jewelry making skills and have enjoyed designing and making bracelets for family and friends.  I hope that I will have the opportunity to share more jewelry offerings in the near future.  My favorite bracelet is the Mother's Bracelet as it highlights God's most precious blessings to us, our children.
