I auction lots of different things for lots of different people. And I have been doing it since 2000 from the rolling hills of Northwest New Jersey. My eBay business continues to evolve, attracting buyers worldwide and customers locally. These customers have been collecting wonderful stuff for years - most want to downsize, some are offering items from a deceased family member, others are closing a business. I make it easy for them to sell their things and easy for you to buy them. eBay calls me a Trading Assistant and, because of the level of my monthly sales, I am also a PowerSeller.
Why me? My earliest memories are rummaging through barns in remote places with my mother. I can still smell those barns! The thrill of unearthing a treasure still linger with me ... along with the vision of my mother buying many, many treasures over many, many years.
She wanted to open an antique store but that never happened. When she died, I was left with her extensive collection of bric-a-brac and jewelry. And I didn't want most it - so I began to sell it on eBay.
At first it was a part time adventure and a financial rewarding diversion from my full time corporate job. When I was downsized, I offered my eBay services to others, who referred me to others - and so it snowballed. It's a good fit. It combines my years of writing and marketing experience with an appreciation for old things, a flair for the new, exceptional organizational skills and business savvy. Sometimes I pull myself away from the fun and hike the wooded trails of NJ - play in my extensive garden - or solve a good mystery story.
