The famed Puces rouennaises is probably the largest second-hand marketplace in the whole of Western France. This market has come to be associated with quality and good bargains, with an endless selection of trinkets, pottery, ceramics, linen, furniture, collectibles and more… The items on sale come from the entire country, but also from bordering countries to the north. Some of the objects on sale are quite unique! As every year, a portion of good on sale will be of exceptional quality (antiques, etc.), and with this in mind a number of experts will be on hand to give buyers a precise and trustworthy estimation. From Friday, September 12 2008 to Sunday, September 14 2008. Different dates every year so check the Tourist board for the latest dates.

Come the first weekend in September, the town of Lille in France opens it's doors to become the biggest flea market in Europe. On both Saturday and Sunday every street in the center in filled with people selling things. From the specialist antique dealers to the guy empting his antic, you will find a wide range of items but be prepared to walk miles. This year will be held on the 6th and 7th of September.
