My friend had an Aprilia SXV 550 that he is having coverted to a road racer. There really is not a class for a 550cc v-twin, but he thinks it will be a blast to ride. i am wondering if the engine is going to last very long. It is plenty fast, but has a "plastic" feel to it and I suspect that it will cover very few race miles before grenading.
