One of the great things about this new venture upon which I am embarking, is the fact that I have been learning about books outside of my favourite genres. Peyton Place by Grace Metalious is one such book. I had always vaguely known that there was a Peyton Place TV Show but had no idea of its actual origin or its tragic author. When I first picked this up I had initially thought that it was an adaptation of said movie. When I purchase books I typically keep the books that I enjoy and sell the ones that fall into the "other" category for me. I research the books prior to posting and wind up learning quite a bit myself.

Well, here we go. My first blog entry, gee that sure sounds goofy. As a retail dog I deal with selling things all the time and I tend to be pretty good at the whole customer service thing but I haven't really sold anything that I am truly interested in. I had been buying and selling things off and on for the past couple of years fairly infrequently, but had'nt really actively pursued it until the beginning of this spring when I bought some books and realized the potential to make some additional income. I've always enjoyed books. People who have known me when I was younger know that I spent copious amounts of time in the Library and, prior to my obsession with comic books, had to hit the local bookstore whenever we made a trip out of town. The other thing I enjoy is collecting things and I actually truly enjoy being the person that facilitates peoples passions. It sure beats selling things you have no interest in. So long story short, I'm indulging my enjoyment of digging through books and collectibles and hopefully I can suplement my family's income by doing so. Don't hesitate to ask questions. I've never been much of a grading expert,even when collecting comics, but I'll do my best to describe conditions accurately. I also speak spanish fairly well.
