Auctiva continuously works to enhance its tools and features to help you save time and sell more on eBay. Recently, we rolled out an upgrade to the Auctiva Uploader that should make transferring your images faster and easier.

You may not have noticed anything different. In fact, on the surface, the image uploader looks the same as before. But under the hood, our developers performed a major tune-up that speeds the upload process, and streamlines the drag-and-drop interface.

Saving you time is one of Auctiva's hallmarks. So, our developers found a way to boost the image upload speed

Here's a look at what's new with our image uploader.

Faster uploads

When you told us our image uploader wasn't fast enough, we took it to heart. After all, saving you time is one of Auctiva's hallmarks.

So, our developers found a way to boost the image upload speed. Now, you should be able to transfer up to 35 megabytes of images in a few seconds.

See more of your photos

We've also improved the interface, in a couple of ways. First, there's now a search tool to help you easily locate images within a folder.

Second, just as before, you can drag and drop image files from your computer to the uploader (or, in Internet Explorer, simply click an image to automatically move it to the upload window). But now, you'll see smaller thumbnail versions than before, so you have more space in the upload window to view your images. This lets you see at a glance the files you've selected, and correct the orientation of the images before you upload them. Which leads us to…

Easy repositioning

You told us you wanted to be able to do basic editing of your images before you transfer them, rather than spend time adjusting the orientation in your Image Management folder. So we've added flexibility to rotate and reposition photos in the uploader.

These seemingly small changes could turn out to be big time-savers for you when you upload your images to Auctiva

If an image you've put in the upload folder is facing the wrong direction, hover your mouse over the original file on your computer, and click on the "rotate" icon that appears. This will rotate the image both on your computer and in the upload window. When you upload the file, it will be facing the direction you selected.

You can also change the order of the photos in the upload window by dragging and dropping them into place.

Working hard to save you time

These seemingly small changes could add up to be big time-savers for you when you upload your images to Auctiva. Check out our enhanced Auctiva Uploader, and let us know what you think of its faster, smoother operation.
