Market your Auctiva Emporium everywhere you can!

Now that you have a custom storefront with all of your listings and information, take your domain name and put it everywhere. It is the easiest and fastest way to drive traffic to your Emporium.

Remember, your default domain link, also known as a URL, is right under the thumbnail preview of your Emporium on the Emporium landing page.

  1. Place your domain link(s) to your Emporium on every listing you have. You can add the link in each of your listings in your Seller Details information... and don't forget about the listings you might have on seller sites other than eBay! Your domain name should become a permanent part of your seller information.

Note: since your Auctiva Emporium displays only eBay listings, and those listings link people directly back to eBay for item purchase, it does not violate eBay policy to place links to your Auctiva Emporium within your listings. For a complete description of eBay's "Links Policy", please review the following page in eBay's help index: http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/listing-links.html.

  2. Place your domain link(s) in the signature of all the emails you send out, in the signature of any message boards you belong to, and in the About Me section of your eBay profile. With just a little coding you can have the link for the domain say whatever you want it to say to help bring people to your Emporium. Copy this code and place it in an HTML friendly environment: <a href="url">Text to be displayed</a>. Replace "url" with your domain name and "Text to be displayed" with your chosen Emporium name or tag line. Make sure to leave the quotes around "url".
  3. Write blogs. Writing blogs that are interesting and relevant to your business is a fun way to keep people coming back to your Emporium. Write a blog about your newest hottest product, or about your area of expertise. Give them information they can't find anywhere else and you give them a reason to return. Also, including keywords in the content of your blogs can help Google index you higher which improves your chances of people finding your Emporium when they search.
  4. Update your keywords regularly. Make sure that your keywords match your Emporium contents. You don't want people coming to your Emporium only to be frustrated when you don't have the items they thought you did.
  5. If you currently have a website, add your Emporium to it using a subdomain. Without getting technical, a subdomain basically acts like another page on your website even though it is a website all its own. Get PDF instructions on how to point your domain directly at your Auctiva Emporium or make it a subdomain of your existing website.
