A new deals site hopes visitors will "heart" it, and the savings it offers for goods by artisans on Etsy, a marketplace for homemade goods.

Heartsy spotlights one Etsy seller or shop every day, and offers vouchers to that seller's items at up to 90 percent off. Shoppers can sign on to receive daily e-mails informing them about the site's featured stores and sellers, or they can go to Heartsy to take advantage of deals.

While it is unknown how many people currently use Heartsy, Lori of Heartworks by Lori, reports her jewelry store received more than 1,900 visitors and a 500-percent increase in traffic when her store was featured on the site.

Sellers can request to be featured on Heartsy. If a seller's deal is selected to be featured, Heartsy says it pays for vouchers up front, and sellers must honor the vouchers when a shopper who took advantage of the deal visits their store or listings.

Currently Heartsy is free, but this could change in the future, according to reports.
