eBay has committed to add 1,000 jobs on its PayPal campus in Austin, TX, over the next 10 years, officials announced Thursday.

This comes after the city of Austin offered eBay an economic development incentive, which will total $1.2 million. The 10-year performance-based grant would help eBay increase its number of employees in Austin from 250 to 1,250. While it is unknown what type of jobs would be added, average salary would be $122,576 a year, according to the city of Austin.

The grant still needs to be approved by city officials. It will be presented to the Austin City Council on April 7. The council will vote on April 12 to approve or reject the proposed grant.

PayPal increased its staff earlier this year in Arizona, where it opened a new support center that will help customers in North America, Mexico and Australia.
