Auctiva was founded in 1998 by Jeff Schlicht to help expedite the eBay listing process.
The first version of Auctiva desktop software was called Auctiva Poster. It helped cut the time of posting items in half. Once small businesses expressed interest, Schlicht established an engineering team. In the spring of 2000, Auctiva acquired eBud, the leading application in auction management at the time.
In order to reach the entire eBay market worldwide, Auctiva changed from desktop software to a web-based auction management environment. The first phase of this new version was released to the public on June 23, 2005.
Auctiva is continually adding features to its suite of products that make the eBay listing process easier, faster and most certainly better!
