How does Auctiva Multi-Channel help me save time?

Start saving time with Auto-Sync Quantity. If you have this setting enabled, Auto-Sync Quantity keeps your listing’s quantity in sync automatically, across all linked channels. Meaning, whenever you make a sale or update the listing’s quantity on one channel, it’s automatically updated on the others. This feature eliminates the repetitive act of revising quantity on every marketplace each time an order comes in.
Additionally using the Multi-Channel One-Page Lister will also save you time. This feature gives you the ability to fill out one listing form and with a click of a button you can submit it to all linked channels. One place, one solution.
We also provide a handful of automatic marketing features such as the cross-selling Scrolling Gallery for eBay, and Auto-Marketing Transactional Emails for eBay. These 2 automated features will not only save you time, but they’ll also help increase your multi-item purchases as well as turn past buyers into repeat buyers.
Save even more time by streamlining your after-the-sale processes with our automated tools such as Auto-Insurance Rules and Auto-Feedback for eBay.

What is a SKU and how do I know how many of them I have?
-
The acronym SKU simply stands for Stock Keeping Unit; it’s basically a unique identifier that sellers can define in order to help keep track of their inventory. A SKU is generally unique for each seller as it’s defined by the seller themselves.
Each listing has the ability to contain a SKU. If a listing does not have a SKU defined, our system assumes this a unique SKU and will count it towards your plan’s limit. On the contrary, if you have a listing on eBay and a listing on Amazon that contain the exact same SKU, that would only be counted as 1 active SKU.
Additionally, as our system uses SKUs in order to sync quantities, we will automatically generate a SKU if your listing does not already have one.
After you’ve linked your selling accounts to Auctiva, you can easily see how many unique SKUs you have by viewing the “Total Active SKUs” report on your Auctiva Dashboard.
-
-
My active SKU count fluctuates often, will that affect my monthly bill?
-
Only if your active SKU count exceeds the limit for the plan you’re currently on will it effect your future bill. When you exceed your plan's SKU limit, you’ll be transitioned to the plan that supports that volume of SKUs and those fees will be reflected on your next month’s invoice.

How do I create a new listing and post it to all channels at the same time?
-
Say goodbye to repetitive work and use the 1-Page Lister to quickly create a new listing and post it to all linked channels at the same time. Here’s an overview of the process:
- Go to the Multi-Channel 1-Page Lister in your Auctiva account.
- Type in the product title, ASIN, EPID, or GTIN (UPC, EAN, ISBN or MPN) of the product you want to start selling.
- Select the product that represents the one you’re selling. Notice all of the product information is pre-populated for you!
- Next, fill out the remaining listing details specific to your listing, such as the quantity available, the price, shipping details etc... Take note that you also have the option to use one of our mobile-responsive Listing Template designs for your eBay listing. This is a great way to differentiate your listing from the competition and make your product stand out.
- Use the “Channel Override” options if you’d like to specify specific information for a particular channel. For example, say you wanted to sell your product on Amazon $2 cheaper than the other channels. You’d simply click to add a Channel Override for “Price” and select the Amazon option, then input the list price you want reflected on your Amazon listing. The base price (non-channel override price) will be used for all other channels.
- Lastly, review your product information, activate the toggle for each channel you want to post the product to, and then click the submit button; it’s that easy. One place, one page, one solution.

How does Auto-Sync Quantity work? I want to make sure it will work with my listings.
-
Our system syncs quantities based off of your listing’s SKU. If you choose to use Auto-Sync Quantity, our system will review all of your listings across all linked channels and will keep them in sync whenever an edit or sale occurs as long as the listings have matching SKUs.
When you turn on Auto-Sync Quantity for the first time, you’ll be prompted to pick a channel. We’ll then use the quantities from those listings for the initial sync.
-
-
What if my listings do not have a SKU? Will I still be able to use Auto-Sync Quantity?
-
Yes. If your listings do not contain SKUs, we’ll auto-generate them for you. And don’t worry–if you want to use Auto-Sync Quantity, you’ll be able to. To sync product quantities together, you simply need to give the listings' the same SKU. As Amazon does not allow SKU editing, we suggest you edit the SKU of your eBay listing, and give it the same SKU as the Amazon listing you want it to sync with.
You can do this easily from your Auctiva Product Catalog. To sync product together, follow these guidelines:
- Go to your Product Catalog in Auctiva
- Locate the Amazon listing you want to sync, and copy the Amazon listing SKU.
- Then, locate the eBay listing you want synced to that Amazon listing and click the title to edit the product.
- Next, paste the SKU you copied from the Amazon listing into the SKU field.
- You'll be prompted to "link" the listings together.
- Verify this is the same product and then click to link the listings together.
Now your products have been linked together and the listings now contain the same SKU, which will allow you enable Auto-Synced Quantity for that product!
-
-
What happens when I make a sale? Is the quantity updated across all channels, and how fast?
-

Meaning if you want your Amazon “Rose Gold iPhone X” listing to have synchronized quantity with your eBay “Rose Gold iPhone X” listing, make sure their SKUs are exactly matching. What is the difference between Auto-Sync Quantity and Allocated Quantity?
-
You’re in control of how your inventory is managed. You can either choose the Inventory Management setting “Auto-Sync Quantity” or “Allocated Quantity”. Here’s the difference between the two:
Auto-Sync Quantity
If you enable Auto-Sync Quantity for your Auctiva Inventory Management, we’ll keep your multi-channel product quantities in sync, automatically, whenever a sale occurs. This gives you the ability to to expand your product reach, without the worry of overselling!
Here’s how it works: Listing quantities are synchronized based off your listing’s SKU value. Meaning, in order to utilize Auto-Sync Quantity across multiple channels, you need to ensure the listings you want synced together contain the exact same SKU. This is the case for variant and non-variant listings.
Allocated Quantity
If you enable Allocated Quantity for your Auctiva Inventory Management, that means you decide the quantity volume that’s allocated to each channel. Simply put, this setting means that you manage quantity values independently per channel and our system will not sync quantities.
Please Note:
- For eBay: Auto-Sync Quantity is only supported in eBay listings that are in a Fixed Price and Good til Canceled format. Auto-Synced Quantity is not available to eBay listings that are in an Auction or duration format.
- For Amazon: Auto-Synced Quantity is only supported in Amazon FBM listings; it is not available for Amazon FBA listings.
